FinBee TAC: Superior Aerial Imagery




There are many reasons why our imagery is superior to that of large firms in the geospatial industry, with that being said, let's get into why that is.


Manned aircraft typically fly at a much higher altitude than our unmanned aircraft, this alters GSD and makes for a very touchy data collection, even if slight cross winds are experienced. This can add to the complexity of a mission and ultimately cost to the customer. With our patented drone technology, we can fly anywhere from 100' to 400' above ground level (depending on the elevation of structures and towers) and capture 1.0'' GSD as our standard. This allows our clients to access 1'' GSD imagery without being up charged like our competitors currently do. The FAA rarely allows unmanned aircraft to break 400' AGL. This, paired with our incredible sensors, only makes sense for organizations to choose our imagery over competitors. The cost is dramatically lower and the resolution always higher.

With our aircraft, wind will never alter image quality as our electronic autopilot system is much more accurate than a human pilot. We can fly all day in the wind and still get the most precise and clear imagery available to the world (as long as it's below 55 mph). In cases of extreme wind, we do not fly. Efficiency is brought up from time to time, as we fly lower than manned aircraft. This is a valid concern, but with the fixed wing high endurance aircraft system we utilize, 8 hours of flight time can be achieved, ultimately squashing those concerns with imagery and data over expansive areas.

Precision is at the core of who we are. Our imagery is tied down buy our Professional Land Surveyors which ensures imagery to be accurate and precise with centimeter level accuracy from our LiDAR systems. These residuals allow for shareability with other departments knowing they are held to the highest standards in surveying and imagery collection, adding to the rapid value generation we create for governments. Our competitors also fall short on these standards where feet are generally the residuals experienced. With our 3D mesh, we are currently seeing only 5-20 square foot error on structures, these errors are verified from the blueprints of actual houses. This is revolutionizing the world of property assessing and is changing how assessments will be done in the future.
