There are many reasons why our imagery is superior to that of large firms in the geospatial industry, with that being said, let's get into why that is.
Manned aircraft typically fly at a much higher altitude than our unmanned aircraft, this alters GSD and makes for a very touchy data collection, even if slight cross winds are experienced. This can add to the complexity of a mission and ultimately cost to the customer. With our patented drone technology, we can fly anywhere from 100' to 400' above ground level (depending on the elevation of structures and towers) and capture 1.0'' GSD as our standard. This allows our clients to access 1'' GSD imagery without being up charged like our competitors currently do. The FAA rarely allows unmanned aircraft to break 400' AGL. This, paired with our incredible sensors, only makes sense for organizations to choose our imagery over competitors. The cost is dramatically lower and the resolution always higher.
With our aircraft, wind will never alter image quality as our electronic autopilot system is much more accurate than a human pilot. We can fly all day in the wind and still get the most precise and clear imagery available to the world (as long as it's below 55 mph). In cases of extreme wind, we do not fly. Efficiency is brought up from time to time, as we fly lower than manned aircraft. This is a valid concern, but with the fixed wing high endurance aircraft system we utilize, 8 hours of flight time can be achieved, ultimately squashing those concerns with imagery and data over expansive areas.
Precision is at the core of who we are. Our imagery is tied down buy our Professional Land Surveyors which ensures imagery to be accurate and precise with centimeter level accuracy from our LiDAR systems. These residuals allow for shareability with other departments knowing they are held to the highest standards in surveying and imagery collection, adding to the rapid value generation we create for governments. Our competitors also fall short on these standards where feet are generally the residuals experienced. With our 3D mesh, we are currently seeing only 5-20 square foot error on structures, these errors are verified from the blueprints of actual houses. This is revolutionizing the world of property assessing and is changing how assessments will be done in the future. The benefits of such accurate measurement capabilities, matched with our point cloud, 3D digital twin, and ortho allow organizations to spend less time in the field verifying and more time assessing their respected areas.
With that being said, ownership of the imagery is becoming increasingly important for governments. We see the value of our clients owning the imagery we collect for them. Not only do we allow governments to purchase the imagery we collect, but also provide powerful and impressive data analytics to digest and analyze the data within the imagery. Analytics are just as important as the imagery collected, they provide insight to issues and ultimately solutions to those issues. FinBee TAC utilizes AI to capture complex geospatial information on material type, such as shingles, siding, and solar panels, drainage, flooding animation, and so much more.
If ownership of the imagery doesn't make sense for your organization, we still offer Esri based web hosting with all of the same analytical tools mentioned above. Support for all software, analytics, and imagery is backed by our promise to supply governments with the highest quality geospatial data in the world.
Our LiDAR mapping package over expansive areas, such as entire counties and cities is revolutionizing quality and what organizations are able to do with the data, they are provided by FinBee. Our LiDAR technology gives access to an extremely dense point cloud. This point cloud can then be transformed into an even more accurate 3D world where measurements are only centimeters off from the real thing. LiDAR is also very useful for conservation, such as biomass detection, soil health, and complex forestry mapping. Another great benefit is for utility mapping, as vegetation encroaches on powerlines. This can be digitized, and analytics can bring any area to the attention of decision makers.
The biggest benefit of our imagery and data analytics, besides the best quality, is cost savings. Our competitors, offer great imagery and analytics but the high cost may force a vast majority of governments to only collect a small portion of the area they had in mind. Not to mention, every single piece of useful information is up charged. Here at FinBee, our prices are fair and straight forward, with no surprises ever. When governments are able to use valuable geospatial information at a fair cost, it allows for better management of budgets and ultimately savings for the entire organization: federal, state, county, or city.
